Above all, curved reflec tors are particularly hard, as they lead to highly non-linear reflection f lows as the camera moves. We introduce Neural Point Catacaustics, a new po int-based representation to render novel views of scenes with curved refle ctors from a set of casually-captured input photos. At the core of our met hod is a neural warp field that models catacaustic trajectories of reflect ions, so complex specular effects can be rendered using efficient point sp latting in conjunction with a neural renderer. One of our key contribution s is the direct representation of reflections with a reflection point clo ud which is displaced by the neural warp field, and a primary point cloud optimized in a preprocess, to represent the rest of the scene. Our approac h allows interactive high-quality renderings of novel views with accurate reflection flow. Additionally, the direct representation of this reflectio n flow for the first time enables several forms of scene manipulation in c aptured scenes, such as reflection editing, cloning of specular objects, r eflection tracking across views, and comfortable stereo viewing.\n\nRegist ration Category: FULL ACCESS, EXPERIENCE PLUS ACCESS, EXPERIENCE ACCESS, T RADE EXHIBITOR\n\nLanguage: ENGLISH\n\nFormat: IN-PERSON URL:https://sa2022.siggraph.org/en/full-program/?id=papers_411&sess=sess15 3 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
