However, this approach requires a nov el high-speed tracking marker that enables automatic initialization as wel l as begin resistant to random occlusion, out-of-focus blurring, and low r esolution, which conventional markers of complicated shapes have not achie ved. \nThis talk focuses on a sphere as a widely moving target object for a usage in dynamic sports. Then, I present a circumferential marker that c an be put on the surface of a sphere; circular shape becomes an ellipse in the perspective projection and can express geometric clues for effective posture estimation. The usage of multiple circles has positive impact on e stimation accuracy and speed though the tracking of an ellipse itself havi ng as many as five parameters is usually unstable. Two-type circumferentia l markers are introduced here; one is uniform one that enables stable trac king for only relative posture, and the other is biased one that expresses codes by shifting the outside circle against inside one for absolute post ure estimation. As well as marker design, a novel high-speed algorithm to identify them in the initial frame and track them continuously is also pro posed. \n\nThe evaluation experiment exhibited sufficient tracking speed a nd accuracy as well as robustness against blurring and occlusion compared to conventional dot-based markers. Several demonstrations show realistic a pplications, such as real-time rotation visualization onto the sphere surf ace for sports training and advanced performance with sticky projection ma pping on a large stage.\n\nRegistration Category: FULL ACCESS, EXPERIENCE PLUS ACCESS, TRADE EXHIBITOR\n\nLanguage: ENGLISH\n\nFormat: IN-PERSON URL:https://sa2022.siggraph.org/en/full-program/?id=gp_136&sess=sess257 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
