Inspired by fluid simulation, traditional differentiable rendering approach can be viewed as the Eulerian method due to the fact th at image derivatives are computed locally on a fixed grid of screen-space pixels. In contrast, our method tackles this problem from the Lagrangian v iewpoint, where pixels are considered as fluid particles that are movable across the image plane locations, capturing global and long-range object m otions efficiently. We guide the underlying geometry point at each pixel t hrough robust correspondence finding and track how they change with respec t to the optimizable scene parameters. As the efficacy of our technique hi nges with the quality of the searched correspondence, we present a study o f different distance calculation metrics including bipartite graph matchin g, flow estimation and optimal transport. Further, we evaluate the effecti veness of our proposed framework on various inverse rendering applications and demonstrate superior convergence behavior compared to state-of-the-ar t baselines.\n\nRegistration Category: FULL ACCESS, EXPERIENCE PLUS ACCESS , EXPERIENCE ACCESS, TRADE EXHIBITOR\n\nLanguage: ENGLISH\n\nFormat: IN-PE RSON URL:https://sa2022.siggraph.org/en/full-program/?id=papers_319&sess=sess15 3 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
