This is the first diff erentiable traffic simulator for macroscopic and hybrid models that can co mpute gradients for traffic states across time steps and inhomogeneous lan es. To compute the gradient flow between two types of traffic models in a hybrid framework, we present a novel intermediate conversion component tha t bridges the lanes in a differentiable manner as well. We also show that we can use analytical gradients to accelerate the overall process and enha nce scalability. Thanks to these gradients, our simulator can provide more efficient and scalable solutions for complex learning and control problem s posed in the traffic engineering than other existing algorithms.\n\nRegi stration Category: FULL ACCESS, EXPERIENCE PLUS ACCESS, EXPERIENCE ACCESS, TRADE EXHIBITOR\n\nLanguage: ENGLISH\n\nFormat: IN-PERSON URL:https://sa2022.siggraph.org/en/full-program/?id=papers_372&sess=sess15 3 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
