Art Gallery Theme: Sustainability & Non-fungibility

What does sustainability mean for SIGGRAPH Asia?

In the Pandemic Era, online cultures based on computer graphics such as Metaverse, NFTs, and Cryptocurrency are rapidly flourishing. The development of computer technology useful to people is desirable, but we should not overlook the climate crisis and pollution issue given the fact that Cryptocurrency mining and transactions damage the environment.

The theme of the SIGGRAPH Asia 2022 Art Gallery invites artworks dreaming about sustainable future technologies for the world. In doing so, we will be able to reconsider what is really ‘non-fungible’ for mankind.

The submissions may include but are not limited to creative projects that explore concepts of sustainability and non-fungibility. Please join us in the SIGGRAPH Asia 2022 Art Gallery at Daegu.

Video Presentations
As SIGGRAPH Asia would be a Hybrid event, a video presentation will be a prerequisite for all submissions. Depending on the requirements of your program, a pre-recorded video presentation or supplementary video will be used and presented at SIGGRAPH Asia. This will allow your work to gain extensive coverage and give our global community the opportunity to learn about your submission.
