Avinash Sharma is an assistant professor at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H), where he is affiliated with the Centre for Visual Information Technology (CVIT). Previously, he was a Research Scientist at Xerox Research Center India. He graduated with MS in Research in Computer Vision from IIIT-H and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from INP Grenoble and INRIA Rhone-Alpes. His interest revolves around 3D reconstruction of humans, garment digitisation and 3D virtual try-on.
