Min H. Kim is a KAIST Endowed-Chair Professor of Computer Science at the KAIST School of Computing, leading the Visual Computing Lab (VCLAB). He teaches subjects related to computer graphics and computer vision in the school. Before joining KAIST, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University. He holds a Ph.D. degree in computer science from University College London (UCL). His primary research areas include computational imaging, computational photography, and image-based modeling and rendering. He is the author of over 110 technical papers and patents on these topics and has won several awards for his research work in international conferences and industries. He has served as Technical Paper Chair at Eurographics 2022, Course Chair at SIGGRAPH Asia 2022, Technical Communications/Posters Co-Chair at SIGGRAPH Asia 2020, in addition to serving on many conference program committees, such as ACM SIGGRAPH/Asia, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, Eurographics, Pacific Graphics, CASA, and CAD/Graphics. He has been an associate editor of the top-class graphics journal, ACM Transactions on Graphics (TOG), in addition to being associate editors in several journal editorial boards such as IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, ACM Transactions on Applied Perception (TAP), and Elsevier Computers and Graphics (CAG).
