Clare completed a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2009 before moving to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to research melanoma skin cancer. She has since held Science Communications and Senior Postdoctoral positions and is currently a Senior Research Scientist in Translational Research with global biopharmaceutical company, CSL.
Over her career Clare has received multiple awards, including being named a Superstar of STEM by Science and Technology Australia in 2017.
Clare combines her passion for research and science communication to answer important biological questions and help to improve the lives of people living with rare and chronic diseases.
