Biography
Having developed a passion for science from an early age at Seymour Technical High School, Jesse Rudd-Schmidt pursued a degree in Science/Nanotechnology at La Trobe University. As a senior researcher in the Voskoboinik laboratory at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, he now combines his training in physics and biochemistry by utilising powerful microscopes to visualise cellular interactions. Jesse has developed an expertise in live cell microscopy, investigating the fine details of CD8+ T cell function, and recently completed a Masters of Philosophy through Melbourne University. His recent publications include shared first author manuscripts in the well-known journals Blood and Nature Communications.
