Born in Kyoto Japan, Mayumi Tachikawa spent seven years as Manager of Corporate Development at Kyoto Research Park, where in 1999 she famously interviewed the creators of Dragonball and Dragonball Z at Toei Animation for Animation World Network. In 2010 she founded the entertainment and entrepreneur consultancy Shuhari LLC. Among numerous other chief operating roles, she has rocketed through Coordinator, Manager, Executive Officer and most recently Senior Vice President at Marza Animation Planet, overseeing such projects as Sonic the Hedgehog I and II, Lupin III the First, Assassination Classroom, Captain Harlock and Chi’s Sweet Adventure Seasons 1-3.
