Dr. John Dingliana graduated with a B.Sc. Honors degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin in 1998 and completed a PhD in 2003 at the Department of Computer Science, Trinity College Dublin (TCD) on the topic of Adaptive Levels of Detail for Interactive Collision Handling. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at TCD and a member of the Graphics Vision and Visualisation research group (GV2). His main research interests are in real-time computer graphics, interactive visualization, and augmented and virtual reality.
