Benedict Conran
Biography
Benedict Conran is a theatrical designer focused on AR storytelling and immersive performance. He has a BA in Theater from UCLA School of Film and Television, and is finishing the last year of his UCLA MFA in Lighting Design. Benedict has worked as a Designer and Unreal Engineer on several UCLA REMAP projects including The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (a virtual performance in a game engine) and the Scalable Immersive Learning pilot (SCiL). Outside of his program, Benedict works as a freelance lighting designer and programmer, recent credits include A Heated Discussion (The Robey Theater Co.), Cabaret (Assistant LD, Cygnate Theater Co.) and Traif (Assistant LD, Geffen Playhouse)
