Valerio Ortenzi qualified with a B.Sc. in Automation and Automated Systems Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome in 2010. He went on to study for a M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering, 2012, from Sapienza University of Rome, and then a Ph.D. in Robotics in 2017, from the University of Birmingham. He is now a Senior Research Manager at Unity Technologies. His research interests focus on human-robot interaction and robotic manipulation. New directions of his work go into neuroscience, computer graphics and machine learning.
