Basavaraja Shanthappa Vandrotti is an Architect at Vision Research Group, Samsung Research Institute Bangalore, where he is responsible for developing computer vision solutions for Augmented Reality. Prior to Samsung, he was with Nokia Inc., India and USA, with responsibilities in developing solutions for smartphones cameras and 360 degree VR cameras. He holds a Master degree in Signal processing from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. He has 17 years of professional experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and published around 15+ international conference papers and 30+ patents, out of which many are US grants.
