Gerard J. Kim received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, in 1987, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Southern California, in 1989 and 1994, respectively. He is currently a Professor of computer science and engineering with Korea University. His main research interests include human–computer interaction, virtual/mixed reality, and computer music.
