Arata Horie is currently an Assistant Professor at the Information Somatics Lab at the University of Tokyo Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan. He received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, in 2017, the M.S. degree in information science from the Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 2019 and the Ph.D. in engineering at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include haptics, human augmentation, and human-computer interaction/integration.
