Jinny CHOO received her MFA degree in Animation and Ph.D. in Animation Theory/Contents Producing from the Chung-Ang University. She is a guest professor at the Korea National University of Arts where she has also carried out research and projects in integrated art education and animation therapy. The Korea-China-Japan student collaboration project is one example, among other projects. She has organized or chaired several international festivals and conferences including SICAF, PISAF, the GISF SF festival, SIGGRAPH Asia and more since 2000. At present, she is involved in Indie-AniFest as a curator and writes columns regularly for the Korean Film Archive KMDb.
