Kyoji Matsushima received his diploma and PhD degree of applied physics from Osaka City University (Japan). He is currently a professor of Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering in Kansai University. He started his research project on computer-generated holograms (CGH) in 1998. His current research interests include 3D imaging based on computer holography and numerical simulations in wave optics. He wrote many literatures and a textbook on creating large-scale CGHs. A large-scale CGH he created before was on display at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Museum around Boston USA.
