Zhi Zhao received his PhD degree in chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2013. Then he joined Arizona State University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2019, he was appointed as an associate professor at the Faculty of Materials and Manufacturing, Beijing University of Technology. Zhi’s current research focuses on DLP based additive manufacturing, composite materials and interfacial chemistry. As of today, he has published over 30 articles in high-impact journals and filed 10 patents. He has been named as a Distinguished Young Investigator by Chinese Academy of Engineering and Young talents of Beijing.
