Keiichi Zempo is a multi-layered researcher and a business manager who challenges to go beyond physical restrictions with technologies.
His research interests include human augmentation, sense substitution, service engineering, telepresence, and XR.
He received a B.Sc. in physics, an M.B.A., and a Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Tsukuba in 2008, 2010, and 2013, respectively. He worked with the Center for Service Engineering, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), from 2013 to 2014. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the University of Tsukuba and CEO of Xtrans tech, Inc.
