Sharif Elcott is graphics engineer and researcher in the video game and VFX industries. He is currently the DevTech lead for Google Stadia in APAC, where he helps game developers bring their content onto the platform and educate the industry about cloud gaming best practices. Prior to that he led the graphics R&D group at Square Enix, and was rendering lead on titles such as Final Fantasy XV and others. As a researcher at Weta Digital he was one of the original founders and developers of Gazebo, Weta's in-house real time renderer for lighting preview and on-set previs.
