Yasuhito Sawahata received his BS, MSc, and PhD in information science and technology from the University of Tokyo in 2001, 2003, and 2015. Since 2003, he has worked in Science and Technology Research Laboratories, Japan Broadcasting Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. He was a research scientist at National Institute of Information and Communications Technology and Computational Neuroscience Laboratories, Advanced Telecommunication Research Institute in Kyoto, Japan, from 2006 to 2010. His work has focused on cognitive science, neuroscience, psychophysics, computer graphics, and virtual reality.
