Parris Egbert is a professor in the Computer Science Department at Brigham Young University. His research interests include fluid simulation, crowd simulation, and photorealistic rendering techniques. He serves as a member of the Executive Board for the Center for Animation at BYU. He has been an Executive Producer on student films that have won eight College Television Awards (Student Emmys) and have played in venues such as the Cannes Film Festival, Annecy, and the SIGGRAPH Electronic Theater.
