Jihyun Jung first encountered Digital Arts when she tried to export her potteries into holographic images using 3D programs when she majored in the ceramic craft at Arts school. After joining the Design of Multimedia Design Department at K’ARTS, she created holograms and other interactive projects. After graduation, she moved on to make VJ videos, projection mapping for dance and play performances, and commercial films, especially in the fashion and beauty industries, as a producer, director, and editor. After working in various visual fields such as motion graphics, live-action advertising, and interactive media art, she returned to study film directing as an MFA student at K’ARTS, where she first encountered VR. After her MFA, she is currently running Film&XR lab 'Node Projects.'
