Biography
A HCI researcher and a final-year student in the Brown | RISD Dual Degree program, studying Computer Science and Industrial Design. I am applying to PhD programs in HCI for Fall 2022!

I am interested in building hybrid human-artificial intelligence (AI) creativity support tools that can actively assist users throughout the design process in domains such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), animation, and fabrication.

I just finished my summer internship at Adobe Research, collaborating with Li-Yi Wei and Rubaiat Habib Kazi on a tool that helps people create stylized 3D animations. This work, of which I am the first author, will appear at CHI 2022. I am also a research assistant at Professor Jeff Huang’s HCI research group at Brown University. My focus there has been free-hand interactions in smartphone AR. I have published Portal-ble, an AR interaction system, at UIST 2019 and Portalware, a dual-display AR drawing tool, at DIS 2021 both as the second author. I am also submitting FocalPoint, an interaction technique for tiny AR objects, to UIST 2022 as the first author.
